DAVID HAS OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ADVISING CLIENTS ON A WIDE RANGE OF SOPHISTICATED, CROSS-BORDER CAPITAL MARKETS TRANSACTIONS AND ON M&A, GENERAL CORPORATE AND FINANCE MATTERS.
David is a Partner in the New York office of PAG Law. His practice focuses on capital markets, corporate and venture capital transactions and other corporate matters. David also serves as outside general counsel and advisor to SMEs and growth-stage companies.
David’s transactional expertise includes equity, equity-linked and debt capital markets offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, liability management, tender and exchange offers, debt restructurings and privatizations representing companies, financial intermediaries, fiduciaries and investors. David has significant experience in the sports, real estate, financial services, infrastructure, energy and transportation sectors and particular experience working with sovereign and quasi-sovereign entities. In addition, David’s experience includes advising founders and executive management on corporate governance, compliance, regulatory, fund raising, risk management and general corporate matters.
David, a Jamaican native, holds a LL.B (Hons.) from The University of the West Indies and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Before joining PAG Law, David practiced at AmLaw 50 firms in New York and Hong Kong and was the in-house counsel at one of China’s leading sports education companies. David has been recognized as a leading lawyer in several industry publications including Chambers Global, Chambers Asia Pacific, IFLR 1000 and the Legal Media Group’s Expert Guides to the World’s Leading Lawyers (Capital Markets).
