AS A CERTIFIED INFORMATION PRIVACY PROFESSIONAL (CIPP/US) AND THROUGH THE PURSUIT OF HIS MBA, DREW STRIVES TO UNDERSTAND ALL ASPECTS OF HIS CLIENT’S BUSINESS – NOT ONLY THE LEGAL COMPONENTS. Drew obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law with a Concentration in the Business of Innovation, Law & Technology. While at Miami Law, Drew served on the Race & Social Justice Law Review, where he focused his research on the relationship between data privacy regulations, such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the state of California’s California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and human rights. In addition, Drew participated in the Startup Practicum assisting entrepreneurs and small business owners with intellectual property, privacy policy, and business formation matters.
In addition to his legal degree, Drew is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and is in the process of obtaining his Master’s in Business Administration. Prior to joining PAG, Drew gained litigation experience representing owners, contractors, and developers of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects in construction and complex civil litigation matters. Drew’s hands-on experience has shaped him into a practical lawyer that uses his past litigation experience to inform his transactional practice by identifying potential pitfalls and understanding effective means to achieve the clients’ business objectives.
