Leading Digital Asset Attorneys Join PAG Law to Create World Class Crypto Practice
31 MARCH 2022
PAG Law is pleased to announce that three respected experts in digital assets and crypto securities, Kendrick Nguyen, Sami Ahmed and Claudia DiGirolamo have joined the firm.
Kendrick Nguyen joins PAG as a "Special Advisor" based in Miami. Kendrick's main professional commitment is as the CEO of Republic, an investment platform connecting tech startups and blockchain projects with global investors. Prior to Republic, Kendrick served as general counsel of AngelList and Fellow of Stanford University's Center for Corporate Governance. He is a founding adviser to NOW Ventures and CoinList, an ICO platform. An immigrant from Vietnam, Kendrick has a strong interest in improving access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs in the US and beyond. Kendrick decided to support PAG Law given PAG Law's focus on serving underrepresented founders.
Sami Ahmed, Yale Law School & Wharton graduate, will also be joining Kendrick as "Of Counsel." Sami has been a pioneer in blockchain regulation since his first law journal publication on the subject in 2018. Sami brings an interdisciplinary approach to digital securities having been trained as a litigator and regulatory attorney before focusing on commercial transactions. These diverse perspectives allow Sami to provide practical legal advice on SEC regulation, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs.
Claudia DiGirolamo will support Kendrick and Sami in building out PAG's market-leading crypto practice. Claudia graduated with Distinction from The University of Toronto before graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law. She served as the law clerk to the Honorable Vincent J. Militello, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County.
"There are no more qualified and passionate advocates of crypto than Kendrick, Sami and Claudia. We are excited to work with them to build on PAG's extensive experience and advocacy around digital securities," commented Juan Pablo Cappello, a founding partner of PAG Law.
Kendrick noted "As an immigrant I was inspired by PAG Law's commitment to support diverse founders of all backgrounds. The world needs more minority-owned law firms like PAG working to improve the world by supporting financial inclusion through digital securities and crypto assets."
