PAG Law Partners Patricia Acosta and Peter Eccles Recognized by The Legal 500 U.S. Elite
2 JUNE 2025
PAG Law PLLC is proud to announce that two of its partners have been recognized in The Legal 500 U.S. Elite 2025 guide. Patricia Acosta, a co-founding Partner based in PAG's Miami office, has been honored as part of the Miami Elite for her work in Commercial and International Disputes and Peter Eccles, Managing Partner of PAG Law's New York office, has been named to the New York City Elite in the area of Corporate and M&A.
This distinction from The Legal 500 U.S. Elite guide highlights a select group of lawyers in the most competitive legal markets in the country. The rankings, based on extensive client and peer feedback, as well as deep research into firm capabilities and track records, celebrate attorneys who consistently deliver top-tier legal counsel and strategic insight.
Patricia Acosta, who leads significant cross-border litigation and arbitration matters for the firm, commented: "To be named among the Miami Elite is a testament to the incredible clients we serve and the litigation and disputes team's commitment to excellence. I am proud to work alongside such a dynamic and diverse group of attorneys at PAG Law."
Peter Eccles's recognition underscores his cross-border transactional expertise, particularly his leadership in complex mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions involving Latin America. "This recognition by The Legal 500 is a reflection of the strength of our firm's cross-border corporate practice and our growing presence in the New York legal market," said Eccles.
This is not PAG Law's first distinction from The Legal 500. In 2024, the firm earned prestigious rankings in the Corporate and M&A category for Latin America, recognizing the team's sharp execution and bilingual fluency across jurisdictions and noting the contributions, in particular, of partners Juan Pablo Cappello, Peter Eccles, Esteban Elias, Alejandro Fiuza and Liz Flores.
As a minority and women-owned boutique law firm, PAG Law continues to provide Big Law expertise with the personalized attention and agility of a smaller firm. Known for its success in cross-border M&A, venture and growth equity, private equity, and international dispute resolution, PAG Law is uniquely positioned to serve clients across the U.S. and Latin America.
"At PAG Law, our mission is not just to deliver legal advice, but to be trusted partners in our clients' most important moments. These recognitions from The Legal 500 are a testament to that commitment," said Juan Pablo Cappello, Co-founder of the firm.
