PAG Law represented Mendel, a corporate spend management solution for enterprises in Latin America, in a $15 million Series A funding. ALLVP and Infinity Ventures led the round.
Mendel aims to be a one-stop shop for all B2B spend by streamlining the corporate expense process for enterprise CFOs. Their software gives finance teams a way to manage and track corporate card transactions in real time from a central dashboard. It also allows for setting spend policies, integrate accounts payable automation and manage employee cash advance and factoring.
The financial technology company is presently focused on the Mexican market where it sees a huge opportunity in the B2B payment market, with plans to expand throughout Latin America in the future as it looks to become a leader in the space in the region.
The PAG Law deal team was led by partner Peter Eccles and associate Ramon Abreu de Lima, and also included partner Juan Pablo Cappello.
